-  A promise that an unaccepted offer will be renewed in the future

4. Scapegoat:

- Someone who is punished for the errors of others.

5. Skid row:

- A city district frequented by vagrants and alcoholics and addicts.

6. Southpaw:

- A baseball pitcher who throws the ball with the left hand.

7. The Last Straw:
- When one small burden after another creates an unbearable situation, the last straw is the last small burden that one can take.

8. Wag the Dog:
- A diversion away from something of greater importance.

9. Wild and Woolly:

- Uncultured and without laws.

10. Pass The Buck:

- Avoid responsibility by giving it to someone else.
